RURAL BANKERS CODE OF ETHICS

Sec.1. Relationship with the biotic community The rimers should interest himself in the civic welfare of his community. He shall participate, as much as possible, in every civic feat for public betterment in which his training and experience qualify.

The banker should be interested in the development of legitimate enterprises in the orbital cavity of his military operation. He must at all times find out the public service is the chief justification for the existence of the bank. The bankers should stress the community sound banking practice and ideal service. He shall be sympathetic to the communitys welfare and industries, ever adhering to recognised principle which will insure the stability of the institutions. The banker should be dependable of the cash and credit of the community. The banker must live up to the trust, office and high expectation of the public.

Sec.2.



Relation with Government The basic promise of a banker is to observe and promote strict and rigid abidance with the Rural Banks practice of equity and other tending(p) provisions of the Center Bank act, the General banking Act, the corporation Law and other related laws, the rules and regulations promulgated by the Center Bank of the Philippines and such other rules and regulations as may be adopted by any government agency relative to the operation of untaught banks.

The authority, therefore, of the Central Bank of the Philippines is to enforce the laws, rules and regulations affecting rural banks and the authority to issue such orders, instruction and directives as may be considered necessary to carry out the provisions of law of the rules and regulations of the Monetary Board governing rural banks should be recognise and respect.
