When I was scratch line to do research for my Management Theory Comparison paper, I thought there were only six different theories. I was so wrong. There is the Scientific Management Theory, ERG Theory, Herzbergs Motivation-Hygiene Theory, McClellands, Theory of Needs, Theory X, Theory Y, and Theory Z, administrative Management Theory, behavioural Management Theory, Management Science Theory, Organizational Environment Theory, bureaucratic Management Theory, Contingency Theory, Systems Theory, and Chaos Theory. I am trusted I am missing some but that is a lot to choose from. So, how do I pick kayoed two that I want to compare? This was going to be very difficult. So the reading began.
I decided to do my comparisons on Administrative Theory and Behavioral Management Theory.
Administrative Management is the study of how to create an organizational structure that leads to mettlesome efficiency and effectiveness. (Evolution)
The administrative theory focused on the perfect organization.



The Administrative Management theory was mainly pioneered by Henri Fayol and true at the same time as scientific management. earlier influences of administrative management were also Mooney, Reiley, Gulick and Urwick. Fayol was concerned mainly with calling management. Fayol recognized the key functions of management as being those of promise and devisening. Fayol believed the most rational and efficient organizations were those which implemented a plan that facilitated unity, continuity, flexibility, precision, command, and control. The objectives of the administration theory are the scalar chain which recommends and emphasizes the hierarchical, pyramidic structure of control relations.
