The play, A Dolls House, written by Henrick Ibsen in 1879 is a characterization of inequality towards not only women, but men as well. His version of the play is set in an isolated village in Norway where the main characters, Nora and Torvald live a outwardly cheery lifestyle with a diminutive, yet hideous secret.
