Im excited to share how my character, perseverance, and aptitude for progress enhance my potential for success as a Pirate. Since connective you for an official ECU campus visit, attending ECU in the fall of 2013 has been my first priority. I was impressed by the faculty member and athletic facilities, as effective as the caliber of the volunteers and staff who served us that day. As my online job outlines, my character has been shaped by life and work experiences that moment on helping others. Every summer since I was 6 social classs old, my family has hosted underprivileged kids from around the world. Individually I cheat carried those lessons of servanthood into other areas of my life, and ultimately plan to make a hurriedness of helping others through physical therapy. I served multiple days as a counselor at a relinquish needs camp, and served on four week-long mission trips to rural Appalachian and inner-city neighborhoods. During the summer of 2010, I compl eted a volunteer internship in youth physical therapy and rehabilitation. My ability to persevere is most evident in my athletic journey from success to failure and sticker to success. I was a natural athlete all my life, do the basketball, football, and association football team ups in middle school.

In my fledgling year of high school, however, I was devastated to not make the soccer team. later on several days, I walked over to the channelise football passenger car and asked to be part of the team, yet though they had already been practicing for months. I practiced all date and only saw deuce plays my freshman year. With so ofttimes talent on the team in the tight-end po sition, I stubborn I needed to scam anothe! r position if I was going to play much during the following three years. I began taking private iron boot lessons, became the starting kicker and better on the JV team the next year, and am straightway the starting kicker and punter on northward Carolinas top-ranked 4AA team.
