Abstract\nAbsenteeism is a perennial problem of each last(predicate) teachers. Every curriculum grade, it is ane of the problems that they gather in to cont curio to. It is non only the teachers who be bear on with this problem but the take aim administrators as well.\nThis action query examined the absenteeism of the Grade VI students of Ibaan primeval School for the schoolhouse year 2013-2014. When they were in Grade V, they were the configuration which has the most number of absentees every day. This was gathered from the data contained in the daily attention evince being passed around and unplowed by the teacher-leaders r proscribedine everyday and is regularly alter up by the teachers in each grade train for the whole year. Now that they are in Grade VI, nigh of them are still familiar absentees. It is for this reason that this research was undertaken. It has the end in view of sense and correcting such undesirable learner behaviour. Based on the findings, methods/strategies were recommended to minimize, if non eradicate absenteeism or truancy.
